Over the Top for sure. Huge portions and an amazing taste. We were camping in the area and found this wonderful place. We highly recommend this. We had Rib Tips, Pulled BBQ plate and the Ribs plate. All were awesome. Loved the sweet tea and the sides. Thank you for my first Mississippi BBQ ever.
Ok so you order up front. Then you seat yourself and the very kind young lady served my rib tips plate with 2 sides. You either pay cash or credit card ( extra$$ for credit card ) platter was loaded with rib tips I opted for the bbq sauce on them. Was perfect. Was not saturated in sauce so yes you get all that bbq flavor of the meat. Also got beans and fried okra. EVERYTHING was piping hot. Place does a good take out business folks coming and going. I would highly recommend Topp's BBQ. Next time I think I will splurge and get a rack of ribs. Pricing was not bad. Keep in mind I had a canned drink and the credit card surcharge n tax n tip. 16.55 dollars. I'm leaving with easily another meal left over.
Small town, not many dining options, but this place ROCKS!!!! I have eaten there a couple of times and always gotten the rib tip plate. Mounds of tips and great sides. Nothing fancy about the place, looks a bit run down, but who cares, the food is GREAT! Sad that our project there is ending soon as it's 4 hrs from home and a bit too far to drive for good BBQ
Their jumbo burgers are the size of my face. Really good rib tips but call ahead to make sure they have some. My favorite menu item would be pulled pork sandwich and slaw.
As a reformed meat eater that loves my veggies I still have a weakness for some fine BBQ. This place has some of the finest. We picked up a couple of lunches. The ribs were very good. They would have received 5 stars but a couple of the ribs were over done to the point that would make me believe they were from yesterdays cooking. Still the flavor was right there. Those that were fresh were very tender. Sauce is just right.
Best grilled BBQ wings I've had! Prices are great and your get service with a smile. Tried a bite of ribs, great smoke taste through and through!
Great Barbecue! Ribs, pulled pork, even catfish on fridays. The baked beans and onion rings are a favorite too.
